At the age of 17, Christian Lemelin arrives in the kitchen. Having discovered a new passion, he started his training at l'École hôtelière de la Capitale.

 

 

He continued his apprenticeship in some of the best restaurants in Quebec like the St-Amour under supervision of Jean-Luc Boulay and Laurie Raphael under supervision of Daniel Vézina followed by a stay of four months in France.

 

At 24, he made his debut as head of the restaurant Momento on Cartier Street. He quickly had the privilege of driving his own kitchen at Restaurant TOAST! in 2003.

 

The past year was marked with many implications and projects. Opening a second restaurant: the Simple Snack Sympathique, better known as the "3 S". Kitchen consultant on the TV show Salut Bonjour, vice president of the Serge Bruyère foundation , radio column with Nathalie Clark, giving courses of contemporary cuisine at l'École hôtelière de la Capitale, a spokesman for special events, etc.

 

Christian is always ready to get involved in the culinary community for the profit of the next generation of chefs.
